After having so much fun at our Light Ride in early October we’ve decided to organise one for November too.
We’d like to invite you to experience the Cycle Superhighway in a whole new light by being one of 60 riders adorned with glow sticks and coloured lights.
Participants are asked to meet at Stanningley Fire Station from 5pm where the CityConnect team will be on hand to help decorate your bike with glow sticks provided.
Why not see if you can be the most lit up rider and bring your own fairy lights and other glow in the dark accessories to add to you and your bike?
Part of the reason we put these rides on is for a bit of fun and a way to celebrate cycling on the new Cycle Superhighway, however we also want to encourage as many new riders as we can, so why not invite family and friends who wouldn’t normally ride to give it a go and help us to encourage more people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
The peloton will leave Stanningley Fire Station at 6.30pm. Ride leaders will safely guide you down the Cycle Superhighway into Bradford City Centre where we will end the ride in City Park. The Pavillion Café will be there to welcome you with FREE light refreshments.
Please note, riders will be expected to make their own way home from Bradford City Centre.
All attendees aged under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The last Light Ride was booked almost instantly so please don’t leave it too late to book yourself a place on the ride.
