Get ready for an unforgettable day cycling on traffic-free streets, through our city centre taking in some of our iconic landmarks. It doesn’t matter how old you are, how old your bike is, or how fast you can ride – Bradford City Cycle is a fun filled day for all. You can join the ride anywhere along the route which is 2.5 miles long, and there will be lots of family activities in City Park with entertainment for everyone to enjoy including; a climbing tower, bungee trampolines and music in the mirror pool area.
Don’t worry if you haven’t got a bike, a limited number will be available to use for free on the day, including some adapted bikes for people with impairments. We even have a tuk tuk and some amazing bespoke bicycles for you to try.
Please note these will be offered on a first come, first served basis, and helmets must be worn.
Bradford Capital of Cycling will bring a selection of bikes for people to come and try including nostalgic bikes from the 70s, a 4-seater bike, a pirate ship and a sheep bike!
